Collaborator

An individual, generally outside of the recipient institution, or other entity involved in the scientific development or execution of a research project. Collaborators may enter into a consortium agreement or research collaboration agreement setting forth the rights, obligations and commitments of each party with respect to the research. Collaborators generally refer to participants who are non-funded.
