DSP: Voluntary cost sharing is a type of cost sharing in which cost sharing is not required by the sponsor or shown on the proposal budget. Voluntary cost sharing is, however, usually reported as cost sharing through the effort reporting system in addition to mandatory or committed cost sharing.
