NIH: Most system issues are technical problems with federal systems used for electronic submission of grant applications (e.g., ASSIST, Grants.gov, eRA Commons, SAM) that keep an applicant from successfully submitting their grant application on time. System issues must be reported to the eRA Service Desk on or before the deadline and will be investigated on a case-by-case basis. Please note: Problems with computer systems at the applicant organization, failure to complete required registrations by the submission deadline or failure to follow documented instructions are not typically considered system issues.
