Specific Aims

A component of an award application's Research Plan or Statement of Work which describes concisely the goals of the proposed research and summarizes the expected outcomes, including the impact that the results of the proposed research will exert on the research fields involved. The Specific Aims enumerate the specific objectives of the research proposed and may be broken down by deliverables, tasks, and milestones.
