The head of a university is titled very different in different countries and includes Vice-Chancellor, President and Rector. (USA) Most commonly in the US, the head of a university has the title of President or Chancellor. The titles may be split between campus and system offices. For example, the head of the University of California system is a President but the head of the University of California, Berkeley is a Chancellor.
