Taimu: A non-Federal entity that provides a Federal award to a subrecipient or subaward to carry out a Federal program. For example: Florida International University receives an award from the Department of Energy (a federal agency) and subawards the University of Miami to complete a portion of the project. These funds are considered Federal Flow-through because they originate from a federal agency.
