Ucsf: A contract that calls for specific non-patient care or research services to be performed (e.g., teaching a course, calibrating a piece of equipment) or a concrete end product to be delivered to an external third party. Activities under this category are very similar to Sales and Service Agreements, except there are NO internal customers. These agreements are not accounted for in RAS.
