Cost Sharing

Any project cost that is not reimbursed by the sponsor (whether U.S. Federal or non-Federal) to support the statement of work set forth under a sponsored award. With respect to U.S. Federal awards, cost sharing or matching is that portion of project or program costs not borne by the federal government.
