DSP: The Administrative Invention Agreement, which is distributed to the principal investigator with the Award Activation Authorization Notice, documents the principal investigator and DEO’s acceptance of responsibility for managing a project in accordance with sponsor and University of Iowa policy. The agreement must also be signed by all key personnel to confirm their intent to abide by the UI’s Patent Policy and Conflict of Interest policy. Completion of the Administrative Invention Agreement is mandatory.
